Remember when the Augmented Reality app Pokémon Go blew up and, all of a sudden, millions of kids of all ages were outside chasing virtual pets?
Our team jumped on the opportunity and had this project green lit in under 24 hours.
In the game, Pokémon are attracted to lures which cost real money. So we bought every single lure in Portland, Maine, and named it with U.S. Cellular branding. Then we captured the responses of people playing the game and posted the video on social media for all of USCC's audience to see.
